At this point we started listing the kinds of companies we wanted to interview, and we built a list of possible contacts for each. Next, we built a paragraph introducing us and stating what were we doing and the purpose of the interview.
By now, we have interviewed one of the biggest banks in Peru (BBVA Banco Contiental) and two large-scale construction companies (URBANOVA and CUBICA). In general lines, all of them said that it isn't a bubble and their main argument was that our economy and house prices are leveling up with those at countries within the region. If there isn't too much collaboration between these countries, this shouldn't be a reason to back up their argument.
We are still gathering up information from every point of view we could have. Tomorrow we are having an interview with the CEO of Banco Financiero, on Thursday I will meet with an economics teacher and we are finalizing contacts for an interview with the CEO of Graña y Montero (Largest construction company in Peru) and a board member of BCR (Federal Reserve Bank)
As we go on, we will be gaining new skills. We've improved project development and planning. We are now familiar with gathering contacts and ask them for help in our projects. We are gaining experience on how to interview professionals and how to analyze their opinion. Moreover, we will learn how to tie it all up together, with statistics, a script and build our final documentary.
