Great experience. Yesterday, I had the chance to attend to Rafa Nadal's and David Ferrer's, world #1 and #3 best tennis players respectively, as a reporter for Peru This Week. Alongside about 80 people, 50 being professional tv reporters, I stood there waiting for the chance. I took the risk, and I asked for the mic and I asked him a question. The questions I had though had already been asked previously, so I improvised and I asked him "What is the reason behind spanish athletes being so successful in these years in every sport worldwide?" Just after he finished to answer, knowing that he loves chocolates, we had prepared two full bags of chocolates for him and Ferrer. By doing this, we are making a name for Peru This Week, obviously I presented myself as a reporter, and we are in front of every peruvian TV.
Once again, I am so proud of myself, of being so courageous enough just to feel as another reporter and go in between everybody, asking for the mic and asking the question. Now, I have gained such a big experience which will definitely be useful in the following years. Thanks to Carsten Korch, who provided this opportunity, hopefully we are helping him meet his goal with Peru This Week and at the same time we are learning from every incredible opportunity he provides to the Innovation Academy.
