Later on, as the company started to grow, we started to get loans from people to invest in our company. By this moment, I had learned about some accounting principles that were important in a company that I couldn't measure in Excel. By the moment I discovered wave apps and started playing with it's tools, I had the need to make something to make the people who invested in us feel comfortable about their investment by showing them professionalism and excellence. Alongside Mr. Topf, we saw some options of sending invoices and receipts, and we started trying to send those to the corresponding payments of loans we had received.
Our investors were impressed when receiving invoices and receipts of their lans from a week-long school startup. Our attention to detail and will to create a culture of excellence pays off with important turning points, mostly with the support we can receive from outsiders and the image we create to our customers.
To clarify, wave apps does not only give me the resources to send an invoice and a receipt. It is a complete accounting online service that meets perfectly the financial and accounting needs of BlendZ. The point I want to make is that many times we try to adapt what we already know to create some "needs". In my case, I knew about excel, so I wanted to control the flow of money in excel; just because I knew how to do it. Instead, one should get to know all the needs of certain tasks before searching for an adequate program that meets all this needs. Through the use of wave apps while working on some tasks as CFO, I got to have this experience, which hopefully will benefit me when facing any new task in the future.
