First: Mr. Fischman. The most outstanding business speaker of the country has agreed to meet with us several times to guide us through our learning, just because he believes that we are doing the right change that education needs. Today, he spoke about the Myers Briggs test. A test in which one is able to note you personality type and you strengths and weaknesses. We know have a clear idea of what we want to focus our careers later on in the future.
In my case, I got a ESTJ personality type, leading to careers such as Business, Administration or Industrial Engineering. What I most highlight about his visit was his philosophy of strengths and weaknesses. After several examples, he proofed that humans beings try to balance all their skills, when they should be improving the weakness to a minimum level and maximising their strengths and use them to be successful.
In the other hand, Ms. Allana Rumble came with a proposal to us. She wants to collaborate with us in order to do great projects for the benefit of our school. She wants us to help, advice and direct projects that she is actually involved in such as those of uniting the top 10 schools in Lima and most importantly the environment.
Both of them have motivated me to take an extra step. From Mr. Fischman, I am already working on doing things with my strengths, and I want to keep on researching on my personality type. From Ms. Rumble, I am looking forward to creating a 5-a-side soccer tournament in which several schools can participate.
